This policy outlines our organisation’s processes and procedures to ensure clients with disabilities and physical or mental health conditions aren’t substantially disadvantaged during training or assessment when working towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certification.

This policy applies to everyone involved in our organisation’s activities, including learners, educators, staff members, and other stakeholders.
4. Definition of Reasonable Adjustments
Reasonable adjustments refer to any actions that reduce or remove substantial disadvantages faced by individuals with disabilities or physical or mental health conditions. This could include but is not limited to, providing extra time for assessments, using accessible venues, or offering materials in alternative formats.
5. Requesting Reasonable Adjustments
Any individual who requires reasonable adjustments should request our Reasonable Adjustments Committee. The request should include adjustments and supporting evidence, such as a medical report.
6. Assessment of Requests
Upon receipt of a request for reasonable adjustments, the Reasonable Adjustments Committee will assess the request, considering the individual’s needs and the potential impact on the integrity of the CPD certification.
7. Implementation of Reasonable Adjustments
Suppose a request for reasonable adjustments is approved. In that case, the Reasonable Adjustments Committee will coordinate the implementation of the adjustments and inform all relevant parties.

All requests for reasonable adjustments and subsequent actions will be handled confidentially and by our Data Protection Policy.
