1. Purpose
This policy outlines our organisation’s processes and procedures in the event of any reported activity or practice that deliberately contravenes regulations and compromises the integrity of our assessment processes and the validity of certification.

This policy applies to everyone involved in our organisation’s activities, including learners, educators, staff members, and other stakeholders.
3. Definition of Malpractice
Malpractice refers to any activity or practice which deliberately contravenes regulations and compromises the integrity of the assessment process and the validity of certificates. This could include, but is not limited to, plagiarism, collusion, falsification of documents, and misconduct during an examination.
4. Reporting Malpractice
Any individual who suspects malpractice should report it immediately to our Malpractice Committee. The report should include details of the alleged malpractice and any supporting evidence.
5. Investigation
Upon receipt of a report of suspected malpractice, the Malpractice Committee will conduct a thorough investigation. This may involve interviewing those involved, reviewing relevant documents, and seeking external advice if necessary.
6. Outcome
The Malpractice Committee will decide based on the evidence gathered following the investigation. If malpractice is confirmed, appropriate sanctions will be applied. These could range from a warning to disqualification from the course or activity, depending on the severity of the malpractice.
7. Appeal
If an individual is not satisfied with the outcome of the investigation, they may appeal the decision. This should be done in writing, stating the reasons for the appeal, and submitted to our Appeals Committee within 14 days of receiving the outcome of the investigation.
8. Confidentiality
All reports of malpractice and subsequent investigations will be handled confidentially and by our Data Protection Policy.
9. Review
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and compliant with current regulations.
